CE.EFL.5.7.  Production – Accuracy and Intelligibility: Use appropriate vocabulary and  language in a variety of oral interactions for a range of audiences and  level-appropriate purposes.

CE.EFL.5.10. Find specific information and identify the main points in simple,  straightforward texts on subjects of personal interest or familiar academic topics  while making informed decisions about one’s own reaction to the text.

Learning activities:
2hrs: Making the rules for the spelling bee contest. Choosing random 15 words to practice. First practice of the spelling bee contest.

1hr: Group activity: In groups of 3 you will make a small practice of the contest. We will have the words and we will study them and make a rehearsal.

2hrs: Practice: We will make the first formal practice of the spelling bee. The students need to now the words and the rules.
